Come out and hear the stories from the workers themselves and help determine how we as students, alumni, staff and community members can help them in their struggle.

Non-unionized staff of Bee Clean that work at the University of Alberta need your help. These workers are currently being subjected to an increasing number of labour violations including intimidation tactics.

• Temporary Foreign Workers have been told they’d be sent home if they spoke with a union.
• At least one worker has been illegally terminated for supporting efforts to improve working conditions.
•There have been wide spread threats from the managers
• Managers have tried to spy on meetings and have also tried to break them up.
• Groups of workers have been told they will be laid off if they appear on Justice for Janitors leaflets.
• They have also sent letters saying that Bee Clean would lose the contract at the University if a union is formed.

The workers deman justice and they demand Bee Clean immediately stop attacking them.
• No more threats and intimidation!
• Reinstate workers who have been wrongfully terminated!

Currently the workers are asking for support from the UofA students, alumni, and staff as well as the broader community, to stand behind them in their search for justice.
